Efforts
to have a healthy and safe environment is a daily
responsibility of each employee at Wolkem. All
precautions are taken to ensure a dust, noise
and accident free day.
Sophisticated testing equipments are used to ensure
noise and dust levels are kept within statutory
permissible limits.
Machines and equipments are encased with safety
nets, helmets, shoes, dresses, masks and ear phones
are an essential part of the dress code.
The health and safety management cell conducts
internal health and safety training and audits
at each plant and mines, the progress of which
is reviewed by the Top Management.
The numerous awards conferred to Wolkem for Health
and Safety from the state and central government
are testimony to the efforts of our people. |
